Fauna and flora

Le Vallon de Réchy: If there is a unique, natural treasure in the whole
area, this is it the one : A small valley entirely protected,
without roads or buildings, giving unlimited
opportunities to walk and watch exceptional plants
and animals and landscapes. This small paradise
with its breathtaking countryside is one of the Central
Valais jewels.

Walking tracks

Vercorin’s area comprises over 250 km of mid-altitude
summer walking tracks, joining together Anniviers
and Hérens Valley resorts. Arying in difficulty,
these trails are accessible to all. Walking along
a stream, woods or pastures, will bring everyone
happiness.

Mountain biking

Various levels 170 Km of TCS marked and certified mountain bike trails are available with various level of difficulty. Mountain bikes and equipment can be hired at the “Virage Sport” shop. Free transport for bikes on the cable car.

Parapente and Hang gliding

There is a parapente and handgliding school in the village and it is possible to have tamdem flights.

Centre sportif du Lavioz

Located 2 minutes walk behind the Chalet, The Lavioz Centre is a place open to everyone. Whether you prefer football, tennis or boules - our assortment of sports facilities is ready and waiting.
Why not enjoy a fresh homemade pancake on our sunny terrace while your children enjoy themselves at the play park, having a tennis lesson or away riding.
The Creux-du-Lavioz will become an unavoidable favourite place to go during your stay in Vercorin.

Minigolf

Shady 18-holes course, July and August from 15:00 to 20:00 or group reservation at the Tourist office.
Adult: CHF 7.-
Child: CHF 4.-
The course can be found just down the road from the sports shop and next to the playground.

La Forêt de l’Aventure

Amusement Park in the trees. Various difficulties; stirrups, Tyroliennes, suspension bridges, creepers, rope ladders, Safety assured. The biggest in Europe.
Short course – children 6 and over, height: down to 140 cm CHF 17.-
Long course – height: 140 cm and above. - 20 ans CHF 30.- / + 16 ans CHF 43.-

Parc à Marmottes – Crêt-du-Midi

You can take the bubble up the mountain throughout the summer and the Marmottes park is at the top. It can be found next to the Crêt-du-Midi restaurant which has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and valley.
